This place is breathtaking. I've been back several times, we've shot the five-stand, enjoyed business meetings at the Toadhouse, and most recently enjoyed a four-course farm dinner followed by a bonfire and games at the Saskatoon Lounge.

We're honored to have our founder, Judy Carpenter, featured in @charlottemag’s latest issue. April is widely known as Earth Month, and Judy's story reminds us all of the power we have to make a positive impact.

“We can’t change the whole world, but we can change our corner of it,” Judy says. “That’s kind of what I want my legacy to be—doing something where people will take seriously that we need to leave the earth in better shape than it is today.”

The sound of spring? It’s the bleating chorus of our newborn lambs! Lambing season is underway, and we’re expecting even more adorable arrivals soon.

Fun farm fact: Ewes (mama sheep) carry their lambs for only 4 ½ months.⏱ These little ones are fast learners too—they can be standing just 30 minutes after birth!

Lambing season can start as early as December and lasts until June. Here at Juneberry, our peak lambing season takes place in late March through April. This allows our ewes to deliver during the cool spring season with the most natural resources available, all thanks to our focus on fostering healthy soil and a rich natural ecology to support our animals.

Come visit our farm and see these happy lambs frolicking in the fields with their moms during your next visit. It’s a sight you won’t want to miss. 🐑
